[Review] Innisfree capsule recipe pack

How are you all doing? I'm still fighting with my university to finally get my certificate of graduation....you would think someone would answer my mails or calls -.- I'm slowly getting really tired and annoyed by it...

Anyways....today I bring you the review of these 4 cute guys:

I did a quick check on cosdna and nothing major flagged up. The only red flagged ingredients are types of alcohol, butylene glycol and silicones.
But cosdna is not the bible of ingredients so if you know that you react to any ingredient / type of ingredient and you see them in these products, stay away.

The initial reason I got these was of the packaging. It looks like those coffee capsules and I thought it was a really cute idea.
Here comes one of the problems with this product. After you opened the capsule for the first time you can't really close it again. You can slip the lid into the little slit provided it doesn't close 100%.
I stored them in the fridge and put a weight on them so the product didn't dry up. Still it is a bit inconvinient.

Pomegranate sleeping pack

The textures, colors and smells vary from type to type.
The Pomegranate is the thickest one, the Green Tea and Apple Yogurt are rather runny and the Rice one has a grainy texture.
They all apply nicely and smoothly except for the pomegranate one which felt a little bit too thick and heavy for my skin.
The website says you get about 2-3 uses but I got way more. Around 10-15 I would say, depending on how much you use.

Green Tea wash-off pack

The Rice one smells amazing. Really amazing! It has a sweet, grainy, oatmeal, cereal type of smell. It's hard to describe but really pleasant...at least for me =D
The Apple Yogurt also smelled really nice but by now the smell is sadly gone...
The Green Tea and Pomegranate one don't smell like anything, which was honestly disappointing for me but if you're sensitive towards fragrances you might prefer those two.

Apple yogurt wash-off pack

The Rice and Pomegranate one are sleeping masks while the Green Tea and Apple Yogurt one are wash-off masks.
As I said the texture of the Pomegranate one felt too heavy on my skin and while my skin felt rather smooth on the next day there was no outstanding effect of "firming" which is what the mask is supposed to do.
The Rice one is a real pleasure to put on because of the amazing smell and the grainy texture also feels good on the skin. There was no real effect of "brightening" but it made my skin smooth and hydrated.
Green Tea and Apple Yogurt are both supposed to provide "hydration" and "moisture" to the skin. I didn't really notice any outstanding effect in that aspect but at least the Apple Yogurt smelled really nice when I applied it. I imagine it would be very nice in summer to cool down the skin.
On the bright side none of them made me breakout.

Rice sleeping pack

Overall, I'm not blown away by this product...neither in a bad way nor in a good way. Rice and Apple Yogurt are definitely nice for the experience aka the wonderful smell and cooling sensation rather than the effects it provides but Pomegranate and Green Tea are not really for me since they neither provide a nice experience while using nor any outstanding effects.
I definitely wanna try the other types, there are very interesting ones.
If you are looking for a mask to deal with serious skin problems or that will give you outstanding results you probably should pass those guys here. However, if you want simple masks with nice smells I definitely recommend the Rice one and the Apple Yogurt one.
I also could imagine that those little caps are convinient if you're going on a 2-3 weeks trips, since you have the right amount with you, no need for filling another product in a travel size container and you can just throw away the capsule at the end of the trip.

Pros: Rice and Apple Yogurt have a nice smell; cooling sensation;

Cons: lid can't be really closed again; no outstanding effects
